Fan-Faire

A performance without an audience is a lonely thing. Over the past nearly thirty years, ELFQUEST has been blessed with a wide and varied perusal of readers. (If there can be a pride of lions and an exultation of larks, there can be a perusal of readers.)

Readers who crank up the volume are fans. In addition to the enjoyment of the story and the art, these folks want more - whether it's more of the tale, more stuff to collect, or more people with whom to share the experience. Fans are tribal; Elfquest is tribal. It's a good match.

Here, then, a few pointers to new ways to enjoy and share Elfquest. Nothing grows without nurturing and without the countless nurturing readers and fans Elfquest has had over the years, you might not be visiting this web site. Thanks to you all!

(In case you were wondering, the title is indeed a play on both "fanfare" and "a fair - or faire, if you prefer the Renaissance festival spelling - for fans". The illustration is by Sergio Aragones, his impression of the Elfquest character-inundated masquerade at the 1981 San Diego Comic Convention. Muchas gracias, senor!)
