Hello, I'm new here, but I am an EQ veteran. I'm also something of an artist, with Wendy being my prime influence even when I'm not drawing EQ stuff.
I've decided to show you all some of my work here, starting with probably my best work:
This one's called Why Worry, named after a Dire Straits song that somehow perfectly captures the mood of this scene from book 2:
Sorry for the size of this pic...even still I had to shrink this one down a bit from what it was.
All of the stuff I'll post on here have been colored on the computer by an archaic version of Adobe PhotoDeluxe. Hey, it gets the job done.

A lovely Leetah, Wolfrider. Great work. One question tho...Why is she white? Sorry, no disparage to your piece, but that is one of my personal pet art peeves. Not to rant or anything but if you habitually saw pale-skinned characters painted dark or Winnowill transformed into a platinum blonde perhaps you'd understand.

I think thats reat work!
You used a program for the colorig correct? Photoshop?
EDIT: DAmn I'm blind...Yes...Adobe photo edit...

This is a really nice piece. I think you got the likeness of the character right -on!
If you're using ancient software, it doesn't show.

MultiMedia: She's not supposed to be white, I did color her a pale brown since it was the forest at night.. kinda doesn't show up as good as it does on my computer for some reason... I automatically blame PhotoBucket, the site that's hosting the image. I'll see if I can edit Leetah to look more dark-skinned. Trust me, it seems to be a bit of a snafu.
Kindred Soul: I don't think so...I decided on Wolfrider as an offshoot of my Yahoo! account name, Wolfrider007. I haven't joined any holts in a very long time..so..

This one's called Shadows, for obvious reasons. An earlier incarnation of Winnowill...
And this one's called Sisters of the Moon, after a great Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks song. One day I'll post the lyrics to it; it's almost as if Stevie had Winnowill in mind when she was writing it.

Your Winnies are very good, too. I think I've seen your 2nd pic somewhere before but I can't remember where. It'd make a great addition to the D-I-Y EQ Cover Art thread. ::hint-hint, everyone ::
