The brand-new EQ chat board is up and running as of today, and it seems to be going smoothly. Several people wondered out loud how they could get friends in the same place at the same time, so it makes sense to launch a Scroll-wide "meeting board" - like this!

This is the thread everyone can use to set up times to get together to chat. There are several rooms, and once you've entered the main "Father Tree" room you can stay there or use the popup menu to move to any of the others.

Enjoy!

I have scrolled through the entire six page index and have not found the chat room, or anything saying "Father Tree". This library computer informs me that it just blocked some kind of pop-up window, but other than that, I am clueless as to whether I am anywhere near the chat room. I haven't been asked whether I want to download anything, either. What am I doing wrong?

Hey Trollbabe.. you should check out not this thread.. or any other.. but a littlebit more above.. Wink

at the top of the forum you have that logo of the forum.. and under it you have the next lines.. : elfquest.com | faq | search | FLASHCHAT | etc etc

if you click on Flashchat you should go to the right place..
I just hope your pop-up blocking thing won't stop this one Wink

Your suggestion worked, but first I had to see the librarian about changing the filter settings on my account.

I think Ineed to download something, and I wont do that on this pc, so I will have to wait till I get home to chat, maybe talk in a hour or so.

Have switched to another library computer, as I do not use the same one every visit. The words "Flashchat" did not appear on the screen until I actually signed in with my password. To those of you having trouble reaching "Flashchat", click "New messages" or "Reply" and sign in.

Almost everyday I work, I will be online in the morning around 10am PSTfor a short while or a couple hours, and around 8-9pm PST for a short while.

On my days off, I will be on and off for the whole two days.

Well... on the 17th, I am going to disneyland again... but that is another story.

So, uh, when are people on? The last couple of times I've popped in there, nobody was there. Sad
