These look great (but small)! But who's the one in pink?
Could you do Newstar with her new outfit? (Maybe for my site) |

I think Nightfall turned out looking most like herself, but they all look pretty good. The one that's supposed to be Savah looks too young, I think.

I think they're cute! Good costuming! _________________ Those who know the exact price of things often miss the true value of things. - Kathleen Norris (paraphrased)

Kahvi looks a lot like her in-comic self. Nice work!

Those are nice.
I've got a couple of dolls on my ElfQuest page:
ElfQuest: Moonwater Holt
The two are of Chieftess Starbolt (me) and my mate, Moonbow. The bases are from Bugtown (links are on the page.). _________________ Cheiftess Starblade, Moonwater Holt |

Yup and you can go directly to my EQ dollz site!
I have an assortment of *original* poses, not taken from WARP images (since I didn't at the time know they would be publishing them online later) as well as portrait head shot blanks to make avatars or close ups.
http://www.geocities.com/abode_elf_dollz/ is the site! Enjoy! I also have a contest going, and feel free to send me links to your sites. |

The one in pink is supposed to be "young Leetah".
This is not Newstar's new outfit, but a quick rendition of her old one.
I'll try to do her new outfit, if you can supply a photo of it
(like maybe on your website? what's the URL?).
Hope you like her. I did alot of edits on her face and hair
in PSP7, but the base was from http://www.dollzmania.net/create6.htm
Credit for this, and all my EQ doll art goes
to the name "Nightsea" for putting stuff together, but to
Warp for characters, and to "melicia greenwood" for creating
Dollz (see http://www.shatteredinnocents.com/dollz/originz1.html) in the first place, as well as the makers of dollzmania
website.

Yay, more EQ dolls popping about from everywhere
I did find an EQ dolls page the other day and posted in a thread, which thread it was I can't remember, but here's the page again:
http://www.angelfire.com/psy/copaprika/chars.html
(scroll down a bit on the page to see the EQ divas)
I'm still hunting for elfine bases myself, and preferably the larger model, since as some of you say the small ones are cute but risk getting blurred
My recently started dollpage alas, I'm way behind with the rest of my personal page

Cheesecake, I love your picture. Arislan was an awesome anime. Sad they didn't finish it. _________________ "A girl just has to be practical" -Oddbit.

I found the image of the "new" outfit for Newstar. I did another
fast palace-sized doll. They are small because they are made
as avatars (max pixels tall or wide=133).
Mirr loved those semi-chibi like dolls you found on
that other page. They were well done, and yet again
Nightfall looks like herself most of all, I think.
As for a program for us less artistically talented types that
provides a "start" or "base" for characters, I like using the
heromachine online. I wish you could import dollz or
even the Wendy Pini outlines into that program! You
probably could get them the right size, but to get all
the clothing and accessories to fit would be a challenge.
Aw well, meanwhile I'll just keep fiddling around.
It's fun, even if the results aren't always perfect.

I loved those too! They're awesome!
Plus, Mirr, your dollz rawk! Very pretty!!
I just wish that Mozilla/Netscape could do all the drag and drop routines that IE can do... the script is apparently a microsoft exclusive or something weird, so now like 3/4 of the dollz sites I have bookmarked with drag and drops or doll makers won't work for me.... yarrrr.....
Making something like the Hero Machine wouldn't be that hard, but I don't have the skills (or the time) to do it. Though - if anyone does have the time and talent? Why don't we all try and contribute clothing and items for it? If there were only like 2 or 3 options for each gender (like, hefty, muscular, slender; for each male and female shape) we could make a template for their clothing and just everyone make whatever they had time to do. |
