Picknose - where did he go after the Elves wake up?
I remember the part where the Elves get woken up from their sleep by the trolls, and Trinket and Picknose are reunited.
Then in The Discovery (I think) or at least around that time it is mentioned that Picknose's tribe left for other lands somewhere.
When and in what book does this happen, and why did the trolls leave?
By the time of The Discovery, the elves are back in their original Holt. Picknose and his posterity stayed on the Djunsland continent, where Thorny Mountain Holt was. They went there with the Palace and the elves back in "The Cry From Beyond."
I miss Picknose, Old Maggoty etc - I laso really liked the newer Troll characters esp. Queen Drub and Flam - I hope we see more of them? They were great in Shards!
