CHARACTER CHARTS - part 2

These first illustrations are "turnarounds" done for animation; they show various characters shown from several different points of view so animators can get a three-dimensional sense of how the figures are put together. This sort of measure allows for great consistency when several different artists are working on the same character.

Next are a number of charts illustrating various character heads showing different facial expressions. Even though these were done when Elfquest was still young, and the characters have "aged" a bit both in years and in drawing style, the underlying artistic structures are still the same as they ever were, and ever will be.
