Windkin flies up and leaves a flower where he found Ahdri. He sees dead humans outside Sorrow's End. Further away, a boy collapses, close to death. Windkin finds him and takes him back to the village, to his mother. Years later, grown up, he tells his grandson a story of what it would be like to fly. |
