Kindred, You seem awfully busy.
I do remember feeling like I needed at least 5 more hours to a day to get on top of all that needed doing when I was taking care of 4 teens and going to college a few years back.
Patience, eventually, the kids will Skype you from College once a week and, apart from vacation time, the housework will be a matter of 1h a day and you'll even have time to nap.
I don't know whether you live in the US (and if yes in which state). When this happened to me for 2 of my sons, I told the principal:
Either you give them the classes now
Or I enroll them in the local community college to finish High School (it's legal in California and the school can't say a thing, but they lose money)
For the 1st one, I actually had to do it (they didn't believe me) and it worked out fine since he came out of there with both the HS diploma and an AA in liberal arts at 18.
For the 2nd, they caved in before I finished my sentence...and they made sure to cause no problem for the twins.

Tired of constantly being handed one steaming bowl of crap after another.
Found out last week that my husband's cancer is back, so we're waiting to hear what will need to be done next.
Then yesterday we got a call that the farmhouse my husband's grandfather built, and that my mother-in-law grew up in, burned down.

Jeb, I'm so sorry to hear that your husbands cancer is back again. I hope he recovers fully and that the cancer will be gone forever and never come back again *hugs*. So sorry to hear about the grandparents farm. I hope everyone is safe and that no one got hurt.

Thanks, everyone. Luckily, everyone was able to get out okay, which is amazing because the area of the house with the exits got the worst of it.

That's relieving news that no one hurt sweetie. Now hopefully the insurance makes for a stress free rebuild!
FINALLY got confirmation for my son's foreign language situation. I made quite a few calls all of this morning to the University myself ((since the service representative is on vacation this week and this is a time sensitive issue with his senior year starting less than 2 weeks)), trying to find the right person to talk to and get proper informtion from. I finally spoke with an Admission Rep, and after explaining the situation, she firmly stated that my son NOT having any foreign language credits will NOT keep him from being accepted there!
Stars!! What a relief!! *collapses* Now I have to track down the ACT testing program for my son to study with, because that test is in Oct, and plays a huge factor on getting in as well as his financial aid
Now I just have to cram to get everything ready my sister's wedding on the 18th. Then pick up my dress that's out of town tomorrow evening. Bachelorette party ((yuk!><)) is this weekend... an overnight deal as well. I'm also helping with decorations at the reception hall BEFORE the big rehearsal ceremony and dinner next Friday o.O
I can;t wait until all this is finally over .-.
