How cool indeed!

We saw "Snow White and the Huntsman," live action but heavy on CGI. One scene involved fairies that I thought looked a lot like Preservers. They had a little bit of head hair, no hats and no wings. My husband disagreed, but they were pretty close to Preservers in my opinion.

I was watching a re-cap of the Olympics last night, and the commentator said it was historic for being the first time "Cutter sent a woman to the Olympics."

It took me a minute to realize she was talking about the country of Qatar.

I learned last week that "babymoon" is a word. It's a combination of "baby" and "honeymoon", and means a vacation taken by a couple during pregnancy, or when they have a newborn and need time with just each other.

There is a Hollywood musical from 1940 called "New Moon" where some of the songs are orchestrated by Murray Cutter.

I just saw a segment on the news about Colorado art and saw one called "The Dancers" and immediatly I thought was " the Coneheads" came to visit Denver! But my ipod wouldnt let me share the image . So if ya visit www.denver.org/what to do

Yup, it literally sucks...
Lampreys are said to be delicious food but I'd definitely chop the head off before cooking...

My late mother served whole baked fish on a bed of rice, usually on an attractive ceramic platter. She said it was an insult to cut the head and tail off a fish. I think I would like a lamprey served in this manner, with the head looking up menacingly.

I could also get one of those tiny plastic baby figures, used in the traditional Mardis Gras King Cake, and put it between the lamprey's jaws before serving.

We Trolls are very creative caterers.

There's food I'd try when it is served ... maybe - but I'd definitely don't want to prepare. NOPE.

And I would hardly try it troll-style! Uhhhgggh....

And my late mother wouldn't even have touched a trout with its head still attached... and trouts got relatively benign faces!
