Huge change in temps, in fact a 24 degree difference. We got into the low 80's today. Should be even cooler tomorrow with the marine layer in the valley tomorrow morning.

Floods. Most of everything is underwater here. My house is on the side of a mountain (exaggeration, its a bloody big hill) so I just got a bit damp as the water made its way downhill, through my house. But it didn't stick around.

Mine isn't as bad a problem as some of my friends have. I have one friend with a small baby who's ground floor was completely flooded. All her furniture will have to be thrown out because of the sewage overflowing. Another friend had a rabbit who gave birth to her babies just last night. The water rose so fast that they couldn't get to the hutch in time and it was completely submerged, she's lost all of them. So sad. More and more friends are posting to facebook about the extent of the damage. I feel lucky. And a couple of new leaks sprung in the roof, but it could have been so much worse.
At least it's stopped raining for now!
