Voll, Lord of the Gliders

There is at least something about Voll's past, that is worth exploring:
. "It has begun.. AGAIN." (Two-Edge's words) hinting at another FIRST quest towards the Palace and led by Voll
. Voll mentioning why he created Blue Mountain and its role.. AND expressing a regret going like : "Why did so many choose NOT to follow my guidance..?" - WHERE did those MANY NON followers go, all along..?

Voll's Quest ... I'd like to read this Happy

Now - that would be something ... meeting those Gliders who rejected BM in the Final Quest!

Of course they could have become the Sunfolk (not sure whether it fits in the timeline, tho):
-> the wandering Gliders splitting into
-> BM Gliders
and
-> forest dwellers, known as
-> Rootless Ones; the last 5 survivors founding Sorrow's End

Many thanks to cometduster and Jeedai for the great Embala pictures! Smile
Many thanks to Moonmoss for the beautiful Merbala in my avatar Hug
Not the Sun-Folk.. Savah explained where her folk came from.

No, I envisioned REPEATED ( along millenias ) departures from Blue Mountain, that may have created new ( and unheard of ) tribes or more ( or less ) evolved groups of elves deciding not to stay within Blue Mountain under Voll's guidance.

I keep remembering ( in Lehrigen's tale ) a statuette of a winged female elf figure, like an angel, and something about ANOTHER mountain..

Of the ancient elves, Lord Voll would be the one I love most. He really does seem millenia old in the way that Winnowill and some of the others do not, yet still retains his own spirited dignity. I'm also just fond of his character design. Bird-elves!

His past also reveals the most about the second generation elves, about which not much else is shown. I have fun making guesses, although I don't know whether anything more was revealed beyond Kings of the Broken Wheel, which is as far as I've read.
