A thread for Dodia and No-Name

pff, Fire-Eye has far to much inconsistencies to be kept on going. Hey, there is also an indicated story-line (which tell how this human in the last episode is acquainted with Suntop and Jethel) (a storyline, which somehow must take place in the time of Dart's group being there, nah!)

However it's sad about Dodia, she was an interesting character, even if there's not much known about her...

Oh, yes, please let it be so! :)


Give the poor kid a name and get Dodia back into the Palace!
I always wondered who Annahvi was. He is able to fly and seems pretty powerful. Maybe...

I always wondered if Dodia was the young child in the background of EQ #2.
That would make her an age mate of Dart and Newstar. Maybe she was so spirited because she had Wolfrider children as playmates? Shame what happened to her if Fire-Eye is all cannon.

I was always under the impression that everything became non canon after the Annesah was put in wrapstuff.

I think it's either of how badly that series story line was thought out or Dodia just doesn't have any sense of logic whatsoever.

Does anyone know whether there was a "Recognition scene" with Door and Dodia or has it happened "off screen" like Dewshine/Tyldak?

When the Palace is restored, and Dodia flies in it with te othe Elves, does anyone ask about her cub?

All we learn about Dodia in Shards #16 (the gathering) is that she returned from the Forevergreen. She showed in the same panel as the others of Dart's band (except Jethel and Chot).
Neither she nor her cub is mentioned - or shown - anywhere else.

That is a shame, since so few of the Blue Mountain Elves survive. Coming from that tribe, the cub could have inherited Glider powers.

Jethel and Chot found Dodia and her cub later in the Forevergreen ... I havn't read far enough to confirm that No-Name is able to glide. But wolfblooded Windkin was - so No-Name will have or develop this ability most probably.

The whole Fire-Eye story arc was put on hold and is no longer considered canon, tho.


Actually I would like to meet No-Name (with a name ) in the Final Quest. There are not enough Gliders left ...

Dodia and Dart's band were picked up by the Palace during the uprising and the fire in the Forevergreen. So, she was at the most a month or so pregnant at the time (and didn't abandon No-Name there.) She eventually returned there either on her own or was dropped off by the Palace. She also still fervently believes Door is still alive (as his Recognized, she'd know) and looking for his son. It's never been shown that No-Name can glide, but I wouldn't doubt it as she kept him chained in their cave home (to keep him from accidentally floating off?)

I'm sorry when my reply gave the impression that Dodia has abandonned her baby in the Forevergreen. She was pregnant ... but far from showing.




Either she is very right about Door being alive ... or very insane and desoriented.
