Finally went through your thread. You've gotten really good! I think my favorite one is the Pike one on page 16. I've been partial to Pike for a while now. I may have to re-read that story with his descendant though. Been a while.

This is an old one indeed, Redhed. I still rmember the fun it brought ... and the kick to try something new with it I must make time to come back to it - it's as challenging as inspiring.

Thank you so much, Allura! "Family Ties" is one of the most recent collages I made ... being on a hiatus for much too long. The story is basically a retelling of the Madcoil incident - from the point of view of a far descendant of Pike ... with Pike as the hero

The task was "Scenes/Plot: Skywise (adventurous, spending time with furmates, tidbits from childhood)," ... made me think of his quote:
"The whole tribe raised me ... everyone older was my mother or father ....everyone younger my companions and playmates. Then I grew and found to my delight ... that some could be lovemates too."

Oooh... I like that one! Skywise was my fav when I was a kid, and those are some great scenes.

That's how my profile background was supposed to look - site settings will afford some changes. So it goes to my awfully neglected collages thread.

It CAN look like this, as a GLOBAL underlying background picture,
  if you set back all background colors for texts and Blocks to 'Default' (ie transparent)
  but then you have to set CLEAR text colours ( like white or yellow ) for insuring readability.
