Recognition Issue

was the story ever finished?
Shade and Sweet Sleep Furs.
I've been wondering about that too. It left me with a very unfinished impression

This "Recognition" issue posted on Digital Elfquest provides a <url=http://www.elfquest.com/gallery/OnlineComics/SS2aR EC/DisplaySS2aREC.html?page=33>sequel</url> already which was never published before. It's still not the conclusion, tho ... I'm afraid we must wait for the Final Quest.

Your avatar is great, Nyanko - your own art? Awesome!
But - it's much too big for an avatar picture. We are obliged to make them 100x100 regulary and not bigger than 125x125maximum.

Well, it's July of 2012 now...and this thread started in '09.

Still, the title of the issue is 'Recognition', implying that's what'll happen.

But it hasn't happened yet.

Teir's comment...'What right have we to birth them and let these, who were also surely wanted, die?'

Perhaps the idea is, they must earn their Recognition. Earn it by saving those human kids.

Ember doesn't like it...she must feel, in her heart, she's going to lose at least one tribesmate doing this...but ALL of her tribe wanted to help.
I can just picture Cutter and Leetah with three grandkids.

Time for the Trolls to take over!
Word on the street is that it will be finished in Final Quest
"Honey badger don't care..."
I, too, am lost on the ending of the Wild Hunt story. I know it transitions into "Mender's Tale," with the Ember tribe living on the mountainside above the city. In the "Recognition" two-part story, the younger Djun shows up and launches an attack.

Then in "Prologue," Ember's tribe is gathered in Djunsland (?), talking about Sunstream's cub. Khorbasi is still with them, and hasn't aged. There are no other human orphans.

BTW "Recognition" could also mean recognizing in the literal sense.
