What happened to the child?

No, not Willowgreen's child, but the human child Two-Spear left to die besides it's dead mother.

What did they do with him? Did they ride out and look for human group he could live with or did they just kill him?
He kinda just stops showing up just before Skyfire challenges Two-Spear.
Stupid question, silly thing to wonder about,I know.

I also wonder what happened to the child. I don't think that Skyfire wanted to kill the child, so maybe she ordered someone to look for a human tribe while she was wounded and brought the child there.

Many thanks to Embala for this beautiful banner Smile

This child would WITNESS that a cruel pointed-eared demon has attacked and killed the peaceful Humans without cause ... I'm not sure at all that Skyfire returned it ... :/

You might be right. I doubt they kept the child.
And the if they found an other human group, that group might just kill the child because it's been 'tainted by demons'.
...
another human group might adopt the child because they can need more members, or they might reject it, because there is no blood relation or it'd mean another mouth to feed.
...

at least that's would concern "primitive" groups of our world
I really don't see another human tribe taking it in when it seemingly shows up out of nowhere.
If the bodies of the child's parents were found somewhere near they found the child (if the Wolfriders bothered to move them) they might be able to came to the conclusion they were killed and only the child survived.

I just don't see the Wolfriders in Two-Spear and Skyfire's time going to such lengths.
The child is dead. It didn't last long on it's own.

That... or the child was Mowgli.

Yeah. One way or another he's going to end up dead.
My question was how he died.
I was wondering if the Wolfrider just killed him or left him in some place to die.
Skyfire seemed to be disgusted that Two-Spear had left back the child alive to die. I say the only logical developement was to return the child (what I highly doubt) or to kill the child fast - something that could not be shown. So it stayed open for everybody to make up it's mind.

Those who cling to an happy ending can figure that the tribe was looking for the missing members, found the child and took it home. But I do not believe in it.

I agree with you on that.
It kind seems ooc for Skyfire and her tribe to use their time looking place for the kid. Especially since she ends up injured after the fight with Two-Spear.

Hmmm, maybe they just handed it over to a elf who really hated humans and that elf just snapped it's neck.
Supposed that the child would either starve or become prey it must not be an act of hate, Vojira. For the elves it might not be much different to the mercy killing of a fawn who's mother was accidentally (or out of need) killed.
Or like they would have killed Stubtail when Pike wouldn't have been so drunk to hide and nurse him for a while.

* Shrugs* Just suggestion. I just got the mental picture of a brute of an elf snapping it's neck.
