About Me
I'm used to be Embala here. I'm a caucasian woman beyond 50, short brown hair, greyblue eyes and with 1,56 meters too short for my weight 
When I should describe my personality - rather guarded and silent, almost shy and friendly (mostly) It looks like more people are considering me a friend than I know. In my job I'm very correct, but at home a controlled creative chaos is normal.
I can enjoy being lazy at times - to my cat's delight. Kuschel (= Cuddling) just loves to use me as a cushion (and claims my arm right now).
My interests are listed at the right but ElfQuest requires the most of my leisure time the last few years - the art and stories hold me captive. My favorite chars are Strongbow, Venka and Two-Edge.
I learned about this comic 1984 - when the first German version was published and became a fan ... more or less this way

The voice of reason (or my shyness) had prevailed over the instinctive wish to possess this album - if only for cover art's sake. I didn't know that it was too late already ... I would return again ... and again ... and finally buy it - read it - fall in love forever.

In general Fantasy, SciFi (bit of a Trekkie), Western ... I'm not the one running to the movie theater, though.

Interests
Elfquest - collecting, reading, enjoying the amazing art! This Forum - enjoying fan art and fan fiction, contact with other members, making EQ collages and EQ "dollz".
I'm doing various arts and crafts - tiffany flowers, Easter eggs, flower fairies and mermaids, making my own "jewelry", flower sculptures from minerals ... not that I have much time for it right now ...
Last not least I'm sort of a "mad collector": crystal figures, minerals (stone, sculptures, jewelry), wood bowls ... I'm sure I've forgotten something
Reading (before I ran out of time due to other activities), mainly fantasy, science fiction and crime novels. Not really any comics besides EQ - Forgotten Realms if anything.
