Today, since it was warm and nice out, I went up to the mountains with my half wolf (dog) Tyson and my roommate to go hiking. Well, I realized how out of shape I am.
Going down the mountain wasn't so bad. It was coming up that burned the thighs and quads. My dog loved though and it is nice to see that he is sleeping and not begging me to play! I decided that until I can build up my tolerance and stamina I will be a wolfrider in spirit and in my mind's eye I can jump, play and run in the woods... Was there ever a time that you felt that way? Just not able to do the cardio things of life and thus a wolfrider in spirit?

It was 6th grade and I was in my second year in South Carolina. I didn't have many friends and was extremely depressed. I would escape from my sorrows in my fantasy world...and it got better when my teacher Ms. Hutto allowed me to borrow ElfQuest. Back then when Poloroid was all the craze I took a snapshot of my new found best friend. I even created a character for myself so I could join the adventures of Cutter and his tribe of elves. I was known as Silent Cry...but my soul name was...well I would have to dig that one up...I don't remember it off the top of my head. But it was a grand adventure. So EQ lovers, fans, and fanfic writers do you remember the time when EQ captured your heart?
