Example: Strongbow can sing about 'The Way', his love for Moonshade, or even about the loss of his daughter. You have to make sure it's congruent with the character's feelings inside the story, and not simply speculate according to how you want the song to work out. Naturally you can also write duets, triets or anything-ets

I can write poems, but they are fundamentally different from lyrics.
