New game- Second letter Last

I love playing First letter Last and Last letter First, and everyone else is genius at them too, so lets amp it up, shall we? In this version we will look for the second letter of a word and put it at the end of the next word (So if it happens to be a two letter word it will mean the last letter counts as the second I suppose)

Example:

Game

Second letter: A

New word: America

And now you!

And of course we will start with...

Elfquest!

Facts on ElfQuest

Who knew?

While in the planning stages, Elfquest went through many versions before becoming the elves that exist today.
Leetah and Cutter originally had two boys, Quickblade and Starjumper. Starjumper was the original name that was going to be used for Suntop, but became the name for Skywise's wolf. Leetah was actually her soulname, and she had a more "elfish" name as well--Morninglight.

Skywise

The biggest change, though, was to a character well-known and very well-loved by the fandom: Skywise. Originally, Skywise was going to die soon after the second part of the quest started. At one point, Wendy told Richard about a particular scene where a thief tries to take something from Skywise. Originally, her intent was to have the thief drag him over the cliff as he falls, and that Skywise and Cutter would get one last chance to say goodbye as he hangs there by a root. When she began to tell Richard more about the character, though, she mentioned Skywise's main character trait at the time--his fascination with the sky. Richard, who is an amateur astronomer, immediately said "He's my Elf. You're not going to kill him." And the rest was history.

GRAPHIC RECONSTITUTION / STUDY

I've had this idea of a game/challenge for graphists for a looooong time, and I finally decided to try it.

The principle is this:
with the existing (but incomplete) graphic references for some wonderful item from the series..
..TRY and reconstitute the COMPLETE item.
At least ANALYSE them, sharing your analysis and the results of your study here.

First proposal: the huge, muti-coloured 'Great Sun' suspension of tinted glass behind Savah's throne, in Sorrow's End.

Here are the references I gathered :

Unfortunately, I cannot participate anymore to this kind of graphic challenge,
because I don't have the required graphic tools, for now.

At least consider this exercise as a COLLECTIVE effort.

I just hope some elf-friends, here, will try their hands at it..
..and that it will give other ideas to other fans!

CCG card / Board game

(It was suggested to change the title of the thread to include board games, as the potential fan-generated game may be a hybrid card/board game.)

Anyone out there ever play or are playing CCGs (Customizable Card Games)?

Besides discussing games, favorites and whatnot on CCGs in general, would like to ask what people would want to see in an Elf Quest based card game. Started a group to try and put one together.

(link to the Group main page)
Elf-Quest-Customizable-Card-Game-Project

As far as my CCG experience, I mostly played Star Trek, Star Wars, and Star Quest, with a little Magic mixed in. Ive also played a card game called Lunch Money that was pretty fun.

Roll Call!

I was inspired by a feed post from a friend. I know we're not the only ones who have created elf personae for ourselves. If you've created a whole tribe (you know who you are!) please, list your tribe's members. But please, pick your favorite or most-used personae to tell a little more about!
I think I'll start.
It's been years since I first created my elfin selves. They've grown, multiplied, died out, and run away since then. And some of them have even left the world of two moons. My ident name is one such. She's nothing more than Elfquest in appearance now. And don't ask me about her. I can't talk about it because she's a chara in my own book. Sorry.

But of the handful I have left, there are two:
Salaan, the Wavedancer
She's a cautious and somewhat sad personality. She loves children and dolphins, and is a born caregiver. She posesses no real magical talent, though she does have a knack for coral carving- carving, not shaping. She's not a fighter and possesses almost no killer instinct.

AND

Sweetbreeze, a Wolfrider
Born Snowmelt for the pale color of her hair and eyes, she briefly took the tribe name Silence after a throat injury left her without a voice. When she discovered an interesting talent to make currents do what she wanted (heretofore unknown among Wolfriders)- in air or water, anything with a flow- her father gave her the name Sweetbreeze. Her wolf-friend is a submissive female named Blueruff, named for the blue-gray band of fur around her neck and ears.

Contest: Elfquest Snow Sculpture

I was talking with Cometduster about starting a snow sculpture contest for kicks.

Rules are :

Must be Elfquest related.

Must be outdoors, made of snow or ice.

Must be submitted by March 21 (or whatever day winter ends)

To enter, post a picture of your sculpture to this thread with the words "winter sculpture" in the title.

On the first day of spring the voting will start, voting details will come later.

For now, there wont be a prize as such, but if this kicks off well perhaps more contests with prizes can be figured out after it has been hashed out with R&P.

PM me with questions or suggestions!

Random Sentence Thread

Okay, basically, you put a 5-word sentence into a post, it doesn't have to lead on from the last or anything and has to/can be completely random.

E.g. If I could fly, sulks.

Followed by:

Only monkeys can fly, period.

-Actually, that followed on pretty well...didn't mean for that to happen, ah well, you get the idea...

Elfquest board game?

It would be nice if Elfquest expanded in different directions, one of the most interesting I think board games. They bring people together, give them time to talk, and with the help of imagination is transferred into the most fantastic worlds. Recently I became interested in the card game Magic the Gathering (MTG). Looking at these cards, I imagined how it would be interesting to play cards, based on the events and characters of Elfquest. My wishes for the creators of Elfquest to think about the idea of creating a modern board (card) game based on the beloved world of comics. Sincerely Prudko Andrew from Anapa, Russia.

The Most Obscure... Game

It's a random game I've created. Like Word Association, but weirder!
There aren't many rules, it's actually quite self-explanatory, here we go:
1) An object or etc. is posted, you then have to respond with the strangest, weirdest thing that first pops into your head after reading it.
An example.
I post 'Monkey Bars'

Your strange mind reads the words 'Monkey Bars' and spits out 'Chicken Tandoori'
[-Yeah, it's a "WTF was I thinking?" Game.]

It's pretty simple, but fun.

2) It has to be the weirdest, strangest thing that comes to mind!

3)This is not Word Association, so no one word answers, etc.
-You know what I mean!

4) You MUST have Fun!!!
