Yes, i know, we all hate Jink, Jink's a bitch, Jink is awful bla bla bla...

But i loved Jink... Not for the art, not for the story and definately not for the characters...

But for what it could have been. Had this story been handled carefully, I believe it could have at least been half as good as OQ... But unfortunately, WaRP threw it into someone elses hands... I truely believe that Wendy and Richard could really have made a good EQ sci-fi series...

'Cause the only thing we have definitively on Jink is that she is a Chief's cub and whoever is "Chief" of the Palace (or in the Palace) is her parent, paternal one since the "Chief" is given the masculine pronoun. From the back view of that individual (all we are given to see) he's got the Chief's lock and a costume that looks startlingly like the one Cutter was wearing during the second Palace War.

Now, Sunstream might have adopted his father's taste in clothing, we don't know.

She sure is a fascinating character.

I don't think Sunstream would dress like Cutter. That wouldn't be in-character for him, any more than being chief would.

Ember was chief. If she is dead she must have had offspring. There is no way Sunstream would be chief of wolfriders. Master of the Palace, certainly, but not chief with a chief's lock.

Which raises an interesting point (because I'm drunk) - can wolf-blood be given back, but immortality retained? And is Wolfshadow in essence, foreshadowing something to do with this? Technically, Suntop would be the next Chief of Cutter's Wolfriders, as Ember has her own tribe, and there'd be no sense (at least at the moment) in getting them all back in one place - spaced out, they have a better chance of hiding from the humans).
