Saw a packet of these "Krim" tomato seeds at a garden store last week: http://store.tomatofest.com/Black_Krim_p/tf-0063.htm
BTW in regards to the Twitter post on Scroll of Colors this past weekend, on "Big Bang" Raj is reading pages 45-46 of "The Discovery." The aqua-blue panels are the giveaway. My husband often tapes the show and watches it later. He thinks I should get a life.

Can't recall if I mentioned this in another thread, but the trailer for "John Carter, Warlord of Mars" shows two moons or moonlike bodies in the sky. (Where's Elfpop to tell me what's visible from Mars?)

Time for the Trolls to take over!
Well... Mars does have two moons...

Thanks for the B-day gift, Emby!
Drunk Martians have reported seeing four moons in the sky.
Today I was looking for the title of a children's book, which I found on the website of Charlotte Zolotow (charlottezolotow.com) I noticed that the website was maintained by her daughter, Crescent!
Since the author is almost a hundred years old, I wondered if this was her daughter's birth name. Further investigation revealed that Ellen Zolotow adopted the name "Crescent Dragonwagon" ten years before Elfquest was published. (See her blog post at http://crescentdragonwagon.typepad.com/nothing_is_waste d_crescen/is-that-your-real-name-.html) So the name was chosen independent of any knowledge of Elfquest.

Earth has more than one moon, astronomers confirm
(Reported by Eric Pfeiffer, The Sideshow)
"Researchers at Cornell University say that what we know as the Moon is in fact not the only one orbiting our planet at any given time. Smaller objects regularly inhabit the Earth's orbit, usually leaving after a few months to continue on their celestial journeys.
"The discovery is considered a major breakthrough for space research because scientists had been working toward visiting asteroids outside of Earth's orbit for research. While these temporary moons are too small for a shuttle landing, they are prime for research from a relatively close distance."

So that would make Earth Planet Sometimes of Two Moons but Mostly of One...

Thanks for the B-day gift, Emby!
I'm watching Big Bang Theory (S5; E10) right now. Right at the beginning, the guys are in a comic-book store and one of the comics clearly read "Elfquest" ^^ (judging from the yellow letters and the blue-ish/green colours, I'd say it's some issue of The Discovery)
Um...yeah, okay....

Saying there are obstacles will get you nowhere; do what you can at the time.
In The Gashlycrumb Tinies (an abecedarium book, where children die petty deaths) under "W" is:
"...W is for Winnie, embedded in ice..."
well, Winnowill wasn't really dead, and she wasn't realy embedded in ice, but still

Where has this book been my whole life?!

I love Edward Gorey.

I didn't know him until some weeks ago, either, but I instantly fell in love with his works
His animation used to be used for the intro of a show called "Mystery!" when I was growing up. My brothers would watch it around my bedtime, and I would be scared of it, but I'd still have to stay up and watch it. It was just so strange.

Can you see the Palace - just returened to the WoTMs through a "sky hole" in this agate?
Yes, I'm aware that the second moon is just a light reflection - nevertheless ... it's amazing for me!
...*wants this sphere* ... *pouts*

Many thanks to Moonmoss for the beautiful Merbala in my avatar
How cool.
So I'm on the short side and have a strange sense of humor. I don't see a problem. Do You?
