But he is. That's the whole point. He is even payed to be. While in the store, his whole purpose in life is to serve the custommer. As a former sales person, waitress, and adminstration clerk, I remember well my first instructions from my various bosses : the customer is always right. or (le client est roi, while I lived in France) That he is an incompetent frustrated nincompoop, isn't your problem and he should be worried of you going to the store chain leadership about his attitude. ( please lay off the cigs. I just lost a friend to them and we'd like to keep you around. You sound like a nice person.)

Thanks, Muriel. I'm planning to stop smoking after I lose some extra weight I've gained lately.
I've worked as a clerk and I understand that some clients can be very demanding and sometimes inhuman towards store employees. This person was the owner of that store, not an employee. A young man who usually works there is very nice and we always chat for a bit when he is not busy.
Now that I think of it, it's possible this man was angry because *he* had to be in the store. It's August and in Greece a lot of people take a few weeks off from work to go on vacation. So maybe he felt it was "beneath" him to be a "mere" worker.
I can't complain anywhere since these small drugstores we call "periptera' are not part of any big store chain. They are run independently. It's illegal to refuse to serve a client of course, but he didn't actually refuse anything, and I really didn't want to go to the police. It's just not worth it. I'm only sorry for his employee because I can imagine what he must go through with such a boss....

He's well-build (um)... tanned, grey-ish hair (which is surprising, cause I doubt he is out of the 30s)... well... and he just has that powerful charisma thing going for him. Awesome smile, friendly expression of eyes. Other than the looks it's the vibes of the guy.

Tho it's merely hiding that the Dark Side of the Force is strong with this one, no question. He's a dentist after all...

Yes, I think he knows the pleasure of life as we do know it. But it's nothing glaringly obvious. (hence the overpowering charisma)
No, in this case dark side was pointing more toward the dentist part. I mean... who would take up such a profession... it's creepy what they do...
