Except for the loving respect of the one he really needs it from: Winnowill herself.
That's the crowning irony - His whole ife he has searched for three things. Love, respect, and power. Now he has all three - love and respect for his sacrifice, and all the power he could ever want in the shape of Winnowill. But now he has it all, his life is a living hell. The first two are useless to him and the third twists in his grasp, more often controlling him than he controls it.
