I always thought the dancing was an important part of it-a heavy "party like thereis no tomorrow" If I were Rawson, I'd show the Go-backs dancing and then show some coupling kissing and sneaking away. Love that! That would be an awesome way of keeping it in but not keeping it in at the same time! :D They should do that! :D

I agree. I think the orgy-party in some format should be there, like the scene where the kids are all being hauled upstairs saying 'We haven't earned that right yet' and with a little bit of fire-play and shows on the wall, with the right music, you could leave it at that and everyone will know.

Actually what's considered PG-13 now a days makes me feel sort of like you might be able to hint at it, and actually be able to pull it off. The comic had it so tastefully done and its such a Go-Back thing... if that wasn't in there, I think you'd miss the fact the Go Backs do enjoy life, and enjoy living immensely.

Also, the Go-Backs do have other rituals. In the getting-to-each-other montage, the Go-backs invite the Wolfriders to joint their dance to honor the dead, I believe. Can't link it right now.

I'd like to suggest that some of the earlier questions that have come up are answered in the video of the movie anouncement on youtube, it seems to me. At least to the extent that they could be stated in the early planning stages, such questions which books were thought of to put in and such. I'd suggest watching the whole lenght of the announcement (not just the beginning and end, as the hit numbers imply).

Another good reason to take the time to watch it: it'll give you some better ideas for questions. (though for me, tonight, I'm not coming up with much in the way of valid reasonable questions, other than a whimsy I'll add in a moment. My mind is on the deer gathered during the last hunt....)

That question: So far, in planning the movie, is there a need for a elfin baby? (Windkin is the only one that comes to mind in the main chunk of story, unless it rolls back to Skywise's or Cutter's birth.) If it ends up as a hybrid or live action film, I offer up a suggestion of my son. He seems to have been born with points on his ears.... :) Though, by his manners you'd think him to be a bit more of a troll baby. (Born sept 6, 2009)

Only other comment i have tonight: Don't let us down, all ye who have a hand in this project! I've been waiting long enough for this I had started making plans to do it myself!

You know, I was a teenager when I read the Go-Backs issue with them dancing, and even wrote you guys about it - (part of that letter was printed in the back of one of the following original issue ), and I, as a teen, applauded the way that was handled.

As an adult, I still applaud. :)

It was done well enough that it was fine for kids. Heck more sex in commercials these days anyway. lol

Just got a little note from Rawson that made a dark wintry day feel quite a bit brighter!
