Besides the movie, what's next?

I'm glad that WaRP is finally getting the long anticipated movie off the ground.

What I want to know is, are any of the several storylines going to be advanced?

Are we going to see the Go-Backs under Venka as they search for Khavi?

Are we going to see Ember and Tier recognize? Or even find a solution to their tribe's ongoing problems with the Djun?

How are things going to play out at the Father Tree Holt as Shuna plays go-between for Cutter's Wolfriders and the human tribes living nearby?

Maybe a story about how the ex-Sun Villagers are adjusting to living in the forests around the Father Tree Holt, or do they just spend all their time in the Palace now?

And how about those two that are still running around the Forevergreen?

What's Windkin up to?

And let's not forget Rayek, Ekuar, and Winnowill...

I wonder too.. it's usually (in my theory) a two year pause (lately) between comics.. but its already been 4 years this summer since "the Discovery" ... so my theory is wrong but I still keep hoping for more.

I can say with assurance, regarding the Go-Backs/Venka story and the Ember and Tier story, yes and yes.

When? That depends on a number of factors, some of which are in our control. Wendy is committed to finishing her Masque of the Red Death tale before anything else gets done. After that, we're playing a bit of a waiting game (with elements of "chicken") with Warner Bros. and various publishing houses. People and companies in entertainment or publishing like to have a sense that things are "happening" with a property before they make commitments. Aside from the screenplay being written and tweaked for submission to the powers that be, not much is "happening." Officially.

Unofficially... stay tuned.

I think that Ember and Tier Recognizing each other in the not too (hopefully) distant future has been something of a given for some time now.

Wonder what would happen if both Ember's and Cutter's tribes got together again for a meet&greet. Specifically referring to getting Leetah and Mender back together. Last time, Tyleet and Scouter Recognized. Wonder who would have a case of 'Eyes meeting Eyes' on the second go around...?

Visions of Scouter getting lucky again, this time with Dewshine, or maybe Redlance and Nightfall finally managing to pull it off without direct, hands-on intervention from Leetah this time, or maybe Clearbrook getting the surprise of her life and conceiving one more time. Then, of course, there's always Ember and Tier, or maybe Cutter and Leetah will have another, or maybe Skywise and Timmain. Who knows...

Ember&Teir are not a given as far as I know, it's just been implied that it could be...
but yes, in some ways the same as pre-Scouter&Tyleet, so could be seen as a given indeed.
So many possibilities... unlimited... who knows, even Krim could Recognize someone!
Really looking forward to seeing new stories! However, I enjoy Masque too... so I'm satisfied with either one for now
