Are you adapting the entire "Grand Quest," or only a part of it?

I think last thing I heard was that it was gonna be the complete OQ, so Grand Quest 1-4. But I could be wrong.
There are elements taken from the first 4 books (the "original quest"), true.

'elements taken from'????? Now you're almost scaring me, Elfpop! The movie will still be true to the story, right? RIGHT???

ROFLMAO...
*Love between those who were made for each other, who love each other, forever and always*
It's gonna be about two trolls attempting to bake the perfect pie, needing more dreamberries so they have to ask their northern neighbors, who they have a feud with, and the elves come in to solve everything.
>_>
>_>
Visit the Otherforest, get made into an elf! Ask me how!
Nah, it'll be about the preservers' quest for an audience who'll appreciate their singing.

With a VERY small audience ... at least after the first 10 minutes!

Yes, there were enough Elves to complete several minced-Elf pies, although it took some time to pick the bones out of the minced Elf meat.

Time for the Trolls to take over!
i think it may end up something like the new last airbender movie, tho i do hope it is done much better with EQ. i am a big fan of avatar the series and got so let down by the film, it was ok but some felt to rushed, felt like they left out important things, and changed things that didnt need to be . so with that i truely hope EQ does a better job at putting the story together for a movie format
@ ferriegirl You know Elfpop never did answer the question.
*sprouts a grey hair*
AAH! *pluck* whew!
*sprouts two more*
Noooooo!
I am hoping they stay true to the story, but I've a feeling our beloved story will be rendered asunder by the skyfire that is Hollywood.

I completely agree! I couldn't even watch it because the screwed up the characters so bad. Though i was ok until the first story spoof, like two seconds into the movie by the way!
By the time zuco showed up and that whole scene was destroyed i just couldn't watch. Tragic really, I was excited to see it!

I'm not concerned if it doesn't keep to the original comics. For example, I don't recall seeing a Tarzan movie, at least a modern one, featuring the stereotyped domestic servant Esmeralda. I only encountered her after reading the book, which I did after seeing more than one Tarzan movie. Even with wide variations, I hope the movie will draw viewers to read the original Elfquest comics and novels.

Time for the Trolls to take over!
