(First time I saw this I thought he looked like a leader for a rouge/evil tribe and I love that idea)

I have always loved the look that Cutter gives Strongbow in this scene from The Hidden Years #11.

The frames before and after give the context. Sometimes you don't even need Sending to communicate. And that hint of a smile is wonderfully expressive.

It's not quite the same, but my favourite picture tend to be covers which span a storyline, keeping the reader guessing. The cover of OQ #6 is a perfect example:

You have the High One representing the Quest, Leetah and the twins and Cutter's desire to protect and bring together his family and the elves, the dangers of humans and a blue mountain in the background. As more and more issues were published the cover gained more meanings. I love it!

My favourite picture is the one where Cutter shows his children to the two tribes.
It shows a different side of the life of the elves, a contrast to the fighting and hunting of the Wolfriders and a calm moment of peace and rest for Cutter.

I don't have it or I'd scan it, but there's an image of Strongbow with his wolf on a stretcher. The wolf was bitten by a rabid dog or something and he's taking it to get it healed though he's pretty badly wonked up himself. I think it's a cover shot or something. It reminds me of myself and how I often feel alone in my efforts, having to drag them myself in order to achieve anything. (That changed when I got married, BTW.) Of course, Strongbow himself has also been somewhat of a reflection of myself, for better (steady) or for worse (stubborn).

I have several favorite images from the comics. They're usually not the covers or the portraits, as those are supposed to look especially good. I really like the ones that particularly show WP's skill as an artist/storyteller...

Probably my absolute favorite image in the entire quest. It's the one that convinced me 'this is Art, not just a comic book'. All at once, it is sad and solemn...and sensual (without being gross). I wish I had a copy of the Donning art; the Archive coloring makes it look just dreadful.

This one shows WP can draw pretty much anything. It's a perfect image of a grey, drizzly day.

Another one with fab artistry, backgrounds, body kinetics, and coloring. Tyldak never looked so good before.

This one's such a stunner. I'm not a big Skywise fan, but this image really made me feel for him. It almost wraps up the whole elfin experience on Abode in one drawing.

I'm not so much in love with the art (I know it's not WP's), but with the imagery being told. It was just so arresting and unexpected that Shuna would do that for her beloved elves...yet completely her.

This one I wish I could hang up on my wall. Everything about this painting is perfect. It makes me want to live in a Sun Village hut.

This one I love for its nerves of steel. It's not every comic book artist who can get away with having one of her characters fondle themselves to the point of orgasm in a "family" comic. You go. Wendy!
