All About our Pets

I figured out it was time to dedicate a thread ONLY for pets and animals. This is for telling about your pet, to remember them or to just update us about about eachothers beloved cat/dog/hamster/bird/whatever you ahve that is cute and funny and is counted as a pet.

Now, for a start; tell us what kind of animal you've got adn what it's been doing lately.

A colleague of me told me this funny story today at job.

She and her family was at their hut on the mountain with their cats. Then one day, a sheep was in their garden and one of the cats didn't like it at all. So the cat started to chase the sheep and jumped at the back on the sheep and it ran away from the hut with the cat on its back. After that, the sheep didn't came back to the hut. And everything is okey with the cat.

Alittle about my cat

when I was 15, my family moved out on the contry.
We met our new neighbor, their cat recently gave birth to 5 kittens.
I allways loved cats but my dad hated them, lucky for me he gave in.
So we asked the neighbor, and they gladly gave us have one of their kittens (for free)
I picked out a white kitten with black spots, and we took him home.
I named him Melanis, and i quickly bonded with him.
He started sleeping in my bed, we often cuddled and played.
My brother pefer to play with him, and my parents enjoy the silly things he do.



As he got older he started, to go outside and indside as he pleases.
He became a good hunter, and started being outside at night.
He grew up to be a big and healthy cat.
Sadly I went to boardingschool, a year after we moved.
so I could only be, with my beloved cat in the weekends
After to years on boardingschool, I moved away from home...
I left my cat with my parents, witch i think is best for him.
But i often miss him ALOT

But ... it can work the other way round, too:

Years ago we had rabbits for pets which were allowed to run part time free in our yard. One was a large silver-grey female called Lümmel (sort of Lollop) - and she tended to keep the yard free from cats by chasing them away.
One day Mom threw something in the yard. A "visiting" cat thought it was sausage and jumped for it. Lümmel thought it was bread - and jumped on the cat. Well - she was a REALLY large rabbit lady. All that remained visible of the cat was the head - looking out between Lümmel's front paws. After the first shock the cat struggled hersef out, jumped over the fence and was never seen again.
btw: It was bread - and Lümmel was very pleased.


Melanis is adorable, Beryl!
Such a cute, playful kitten - giving the plushie and the miniature tiger.
And he makes for a gorgous adult tom cat - very content with his rightous place in your arms. Wonderful shot ouf you two! His marks are unique - the triangles on nose and chin are like a special mask and the spots in frint of the ears and above the inner side of his paws are a sweet touch.

Anyway, just days ago the colleague of me who's owning the rodeo cat that her cat is going to have kittens in februrary. And yes, it's the rodeo cat who's the mother.
